Happy New reading Year ^_^

Howdy fellow book lovers!

Did you get new books for Christmas! I did! I thought you might like to have a look :)

I got this beautiful Jasmine Becket Griffith book from Mum. It's signed! Which means she got it at the faery fayre! Which I was also at and did not see her buy! She is mischievous! ;-)
It is truly beautiful.

I got this equally beautiful faery book from Lori! It's stunning. When the light is better I will try and get pictures of the inside to show you.

I got this beautiful Angel book from a lovely Pop In friend.

And this fabulous Tolkien Dictionary, also from Mum.

I also got " Christmas at Battersea" from another Pop In friend. I didn't get a photo to show you, but it is a lovely book.

Not bad eh!? ^_^ I have read a few others which I didn't add to my list. Jane Eyre, I thought it was cheating a lot to add it every time I re-read it and I re-read it again for English class! Also, Christmas called for another re-read of A Christmas Carol....just to remind myself to not be a Scrooge ;-)

Happy reading beautifuls, I hope your 2015 is full of good reads.
Oceans of love

  1. Happy new year, even if it is a bit later, halfway through January already , what a great reading book list steph , it's fasinating to read your list never mind the actual books , like everything else reading has gone to pot too occupied in looking after a nine month old

    1. Ah yes! But he's a nine month old worth putting the books down for though Joan ^_^ XOX

  2. You read all those books this past year? Oh my...you must be a speed reader! I see where we crossed paths in reading several times....The Kite Runner which was very emotional...I have a hard time with books like that...too much empathy on my part. M.C.Beaton is a delight and all your books look wonderful! I love books so much! Books raised me as a child! LOL! I hope you're off to a wonderful new year!

    1. Oh no! Not in the past year, a couple of years at least. I'm not sure when I started my challenge, but it's been a while. The Kite Runner was not something I would have chosen to read, but it was on my reading list for English class. Yes! A very emotional read.Thank you for your comment and for stopping by. XoX
